Naples Anticoagulation Clinic
The mission of the Anticoagulation Clinic is to provide safe, effective management of anticoagulation therapy. The patients are monitored utilizing point of care testing via fingerstick method and obtaining an immediate INR result. The dosage of Coumadin is then adjusted utilizing an established anticoagulation protocol and the patient is instructed regarding any dosage adjustments and necessary follow up visits during each visit.
NCH Healthcare Group Anticoagulation patients will receive comprehensive education regarding their anticoagulation therapy at the time of their initial visit and as needed while they are being cared for at the clinic. All staff have completed the Anticoagulation Therapy Management Certification Program.
Patients must be referred to the clinic by an NCH Healthcare Group physician and will then be contacted by one of the clinic staff to schedule an appointment..
