The American Academy of Pediatrics also recommends that all children 6 months and older receive the influenza vaccine. Vaccine information sheets are available on all of these vaccines by visiting the Centers for Disease Control. We encourage you to read these vaccine information sheets before you come to the office so we can answer any questions you might have. We also encourage you to read our Immunization Policy statement. We at Anchor Pediatrics will do our best to keep our web page current, but unanticipated changes to this schedule may occur. Some of these changes are beyond our control (i.e. vaccination shortage). We apologize beforehand for any inconvenience.
** Pentacel is a combination vaccine that contains DTaP, Polio and Hib. Compared to giving each of these shots individually, the use of pentacel will reduce the total number of shots your child receives by six.
