A full range of on-site diagnostic and therapeutic services are provided to patients including:

Electrocardiograms—two- and three-dimensional

Electrocardiograms (ECG or EKG) tests record the electrical activity of the heart to check the rate and regularity of heartbeats. Measuring devices called leads are attached to the chest to measure this activity.

Exercise stress tests and echocardiography

This noninvasive procedure visualizes the heart to assess heart function and size.

Cardiac CT

Cardiac CT is a painless test that uses an x-ray machine to take clear, detailed pictures of your heart. During a cardiac CT scan, the x-ray machine will move around your body in a circle and take a picture of each part of your heart.

Holter monitoring

This test records the heartbeat continuously through leads placed on the patient's chest and attached to a portable recording device worn on a belt. The patient keeps a diary of aactivities and symptoms during the time this device is worn. After 24 hours of continuous wear, a cardiac technician scans the recordings and a physician reviews the data.

Nuclear cardiology

This procedure measures wall motion and function of the heart. The patient is given an intravenous injection of a radioactive substance and is then placed under a scanning device designed to visualize the heart.

Pacemaker Follow up

Follow up for patients who have had pacemakers inserted is run by a technician and overseen by a physician. Pacemaker checks can be done remotely by transmitting the heart rhythm over the phone for the tech and physician to review.

Ultrasound Cardiac Imaging

Heart imaging using high-frequency sound waves. Ultrasound waves can be bounced off of tissues using special devices. The echoes are then converted into a picture called a sonogram. 24-hour blood pressure monitoring

A method of taking regular blood pressure readings, usually over a 24-hour period, as patients conduct their normal activities. A special, automatic blood pressure monitor is used, and patients are asked to keep a diary or log of their activities during the day.

Cholesterol Treatment

Coronary heart disease (CHD) is caused by excess cholesterol and fat being deposited in the walls of the arteries that supply nutrients and oxygen to your heart. Medications and dietary adjustments are among treatments for high cholesterol.

T Wave Alternans

T-wave alternans (TWA) is a noninvasive technique used to identify patients who are at high or low risk for sudden cardiac death or cardiac arrest due to ventricular tachyarrhythmias. T-wave alternans refers to a beat-to-beat variability in the amplitude of the T-wave portion of the electrocardiogram (ECG) tracing.
