Anchor Health Centers Rheumatology Division, under the direction of Eric J. Hochman, M.D, triple Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Rheumatology, provides a range of clinical services including evaluation and treatment of arthritic conditions, joint aspirations, ordering of bone densities and discussion on treatment, and more.
- Consultation and treatment of Arthritic and Rheumatologic conditions (back/neck, hand/foot pain and other joint pain)
- Joint Aspirations (fluid removal) and joint injections (for shoulders, elbows, wrists, hands, knees, ankles, feet and hips (trochanteric bursae).
- Review of bone densities and discussion on management of osteoporosis/osteopenia
- IV infusions for arthritis, osteoporosis, and other conditions
- Referrals for physical therapy and specialists as indicated
