Surgery: General Specialty CareServices

Naples General Surgery

Our physicians represent the Department of Surgery at Anchor Health Centers. Dr. Jacob Jordan, Dr. Justin Warner and Dr. Sam Tunkle are board certified in General Surgery by the American Board of Surgery.

General Surgery encompasses the surgical treatment of the gallbladder, spleen, stomach, liver, appendix, bowel, anorectum, breast, thyroid, hernias and skin. General surgeons also care for difficult wounds, certain severe infections, cancer related diagnosis and traumatized patients. We specialize in Robotic Surgery, laparoscopic proedures as well as cancer related procedures.

When your problem falls outside of our specialty, we will assist you in locating an appropriate specialist for your condition with whom we will closely collaborate. In caring for you, we regard ourselves as consultants.

Emergencies

In the case of an obvious emergency we suggest that you proceed to the nearest hospital emergency or our Urgent Care Center. Upon arrival there, advise them of your surgeon's name so he can be notified of your visit and condition.

Prescriptions

Please make all requests for prescription refills during our office hours so that we may have access to your medical records. By Law, refills for some pain medications cannot be called into your pharmacist so you must have a written prescription with you. Also when calling the office for a prescription or refills, please provide us with the telephone number of your pharmacy.

Fees, Payments & Insurance

Please refer to our financial policy on your registration papers. If you have questions or if we may be of assistance to you regarding your insurance and payments please do not hesitate to ask us. Surgery deposits and or co-pays are usually collected prior to surgery unless other arrangements have been made.

Assistants at General Surgery

Certain surgical procedures are best performed with an assistant, usually one of our doctors. This is a billable service and every effort will be made to inform you of the anticipated need of an assistant before surgery.

Our General Surgeons

Your surgeons cannot single handedly cure or correct your illness or condition. You, as the patient are an important member of our health care team. As such, you hold responsibility for actively participating in your own recovery. We look forward for the opportunity to treat you as our patient.
