Currently, there are fewer than 1600 Board Certified Vascular Specialists in the United States. Anchor’s Dr. Hiranya Rajasinghe, Dr. Argyrios Tzilinis and Dr. Santiago Chahwan have spent additional years of training beyond general surgery residency with a focused, dedicated interest in peripheral vascular disease. This enhanced specialty-specific training is recognized by the American Board of Surgery.
The Vascular Specialists at Anchor can perform the entire range of traditional operations to treat peripheral vascular disease as well as offer minimally invasive catheter directed procedures (endovascular interventions). This allows you and your vascular specialist to choose the optimum treatment strategy whether you have an aortic aneurysm, a carotid blockage, a circulation problem in your leg, or suffer from a vein disorder. When your problem falls outside of our specialty, we will assist you in locating an appropriate specialist for your condition with whom we will closely collaborate.

Peripheral Vascular Surgery encompasses the treatment of artery and vein disorders outside the heart and lungs including blocked carotid (neck) and leg arteries, aneurysms of the aorta, and varicose veins.

Vascular Laboratory
The laboratory diagnoses and assists your vascular specialists in tailoring appropriate pre- and post-operative care using state-of-the-art ultrasound imaging equipment.
The goal of our office is to provide comprehensive care for our patients with peripheral vascular disease in a comfortable, friendly, professional atmosphere while strictly maintaining each patient's privacy and confidentiality. Our committed staff is here to assist you Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm. The office staff answers our phones from 9:00am to 4:00pm daily.
